Troy Freeman is the Vice President, Real Estate Management at Banner Health. In his role, Mr. Freeman is responsible for oversight and execution across several functions, including portfolio strategy and management, transaction management, asset management, and lease administration. Additionally, Mr. Freeman plays a key role related to ownership and financing structure across Banner Health’s real estate portfolio which consists of over 800 locations and 20M SF.
Prior to joining Banner Health, Mr. Freeman spent 2-years at Wells Fargo as a Senior Vice President within the Corporate Properties Group. In this role, Troy led a team responsible for the portfolio strategy and transaction management across more than 35M SF of real estate. Prior to Wells Fargo, Mr. Freeman served as a Senior Vice President / National Director within the Corporate Solutions business unit at JLL. Over his 13-year tenure with JLL, Troy led portfolio strategy, transaction management, and related services across a number of national and global client accounts including Kaiser Permanente, Stericycle, General Motors, Bank of America, and others.
Troy has been recognized across the industry winning awards and accolades for his work from groups including CoreNet Global, NAIOP, CoStar, and the Orange County Business Journal. As part of the Kaiser Permanente account team, Mr. Freeman and his colleagues were recognized by CoreNet Global for their achievements in Corporate Real Estate Excellence. In 2014, Troy recognized with a CoreNet Remmy for Broker Creative Solution. Troy was recognized as a Broker of the Year in Los Angeles in 2012 and 2017 and in Orange County in 2015. In 2018, Troy was part of a team awarded NAIOP’s transaction of the year award Chicago. In addition, Mr. Freeman has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at California Lutheran University.
Mr. Freeman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Master of Business Administration from California Lutheran University. Additionally, Mr. Freeman holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from the University of Denver. Mr. Freeman holds real estate licenses in both California and Arizona, has earned the LEED AP accreditation from the United States Green Building Council, and has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.
