Revista has posted its first industry fundamentals report. The Revista MOB Sector Fundamentals Report represents approximately 150M SF of data reported by major owners of medical office properties. Data are provided quarterly encompassing a portfolio as well as on a same store, year over year basis.
Overall, the sector is performing near cyclical highs in terms of occupancy and NOI growth. The occupancy rate as of the 2nd quarter 2016 was 92.5%. On a same store basis, the median occupancy rate change was 25 basis points, YOY. Revenue growth is trending near a cyclical high at 2.3% YOY while same store YOY NOI growth is 3.0% as of 6/30/2016.
