The Revista team has been hard at work building out some new functionality and reports for RevistaMed subscribers. You can now see visually by zip code where a hospital has the greatest market share. You can also see trends by zip code to see where a hospital is gaining or losing share. Data on share is from the CMS Hospital Service Area file and you can select to view by charges or cases. This includes all charges and cases regardless of payment type and is a great tool for identifying areas of strength as well as areas of opportunity.
